Established in 2009 by the Gosling and Goldburg families, Verde Property Australia Pty Ltd was specifically created to develop, manage and own environmentally sustainable buildings for occupation by Governments or blue chip companies. 

Now backed by a diverse investment portfolio, Verde Property remains a family owned and operated company. The Verde team is an amalgamation of career long professionals with an extensive range of experience and knowledge in property development, investment, management, construction and finance.

The Verde philosophy also embodies the importance for the Group to work exclusively with industry leading consultants and builders that have a proven track record for quality and performance.

Seeking to cater for government departments, agencies and environmentally conscious corporations, which mandate higher sustainable ratings for their office accommodation, Verde has more recently expanded its expertise to include the development of buildings that are not only of premium quality and environmentally friendly buildings, but also incorporate design principles and structural systems to best deal with Natural disasters.

This ideology has been recognised by the Queensland State Government with the State electing to occupy Verde developments in North Queensland. These buildings have set new benchmarks for commercial development in these regions. So convinced are the State of the building in Townsville’s quality, that they have housed the North Queensland Disaster Management Centre within the building. In August 2014, this development was also awarded North Queensland’s best new building and most environmentally sustainable project.

In 2013, Verde completed two major property developments with a combined value (including fit out) of approximately $150 million. Both developments were completed exactly on program with no cost over runs. The Verde team managed the design process, all facets of development, as well as the leasing and financing of both buildings. The Verde Group has retained ownership and management of both of these buildings.

In 2015, Verde commenced diversifying internationally with the opening of Verde New Zealand. This expansion has enabled the Group to respond to global property markets with a strategy that delivers environmentally sustainable, premium buildings that can, where appropriate, be developed to withstand the rigors of harsh local environments such as cyclones or earthquakes.
